SSI Group, Inc. (SSI) was incorporated in 2007 under the name Casual Clothing Specialist, Inc. The company was engaged primarily in brand management and specialty retailing of established international brands.
On August 29, 2014, Casual Clothing changed its company name to SSI.

SSI has announced today that it entered into a Development and License Agreement with NYSE-listed firm Shake Shack Inc. The goal is to operate Shake Shack restaurants in the Philippines by spring 2019. This will be the pioneer Shake Shack in Southeast Asia.
Shake Shack is a modern-day roadside burger chain. The company is known for its 100-percent all-natural Angus beef burgers, flat-top Vienna beef dogs, crinkle cut fries, chicken sandwiches, fresh-spun custard, craft beer, wine and more.
The menu will feature Shake Shack’s ShackBurger, Shake-cago Dog, crinkle-cut fries, beer, wine, and frozen custard ice cream.
On June 18, 2018, SSI also declared cash dividends amounting to PHP 0.013 per share, payable on August 1, 2018.
For the first quarter of 2018, SSI generated net sales of PHP 4.6 billion, higher by 7.8 percent versus the same period last year. The group saw strong top-line and same-store performance from its casual, fast fashion, luxury, and bridge categories.
Moreover, the company also benefited from a strong consumer demand because of the recently implemented TRAIN law. This is still despite the intense competitive environment, which resulted in a decline in total selling space by 7.4 percent.
Currently, SSI has 626 stores covering 126,575 square metres. This, however, is 10,090 square meters or 7.4 percent lower versus last year.
The group opened ten new stores covering approximately 435 square meters. On the other hand, it closed 22 stores covering about 3,346 square meters.
SSI’s brand portfolio was composed of 108 brands, with no brands added or discontinued during the quarter.
Net income for the quarter amounted to PHP 132.90 million, which was 1.50 percent lower than the recorded PHP 134.90 million for the same period last year.
SSI rallied sharply today as news came out about the partnership with Shake Shack. Price breached the 15 EMA and 20 SMA but was stopped by the 50 SMA which is acting as resistance.
Volume supported the rally. MACD is bullish. RSI is bullish and is currently at neutral levels. Support is estimated at 1.82 while resistance is expected at 2.08.
