Our mission is to teach practical financial education and simplify trading and investing in the Philippine Stock Market for the Filipinos.
Our vision to guide at least 1 million Filipino stock traders and investors by 2030.
Equilyst Analytics, Inc. was incorporated in July 2017 to live by this mission and vision.
I learned about the Philippine stock market in 2001. I needed to be updated by the latest happenings in our economy because I regularly competed on impromptu and oratorical competitions in college.
No, I wasn’t born with silver spoon and fork in my mouth. If people who complained about eating porridge (lugaw in Filipino) almost every single day only knew that there were many days in my life that we didn’t even have rice grains for porridge, perhaps, they would see themselves as the lucky ones.
I already saw, tasted, smelled, felt, and heard the pitiful rockbottom of life. My experience gives me an authentic hope and courage to pursue the vision and mission of Equilyst Analytics, Inc. together with my team.
We have guided thousands of Filipino and foreign traders and investors. There were only 868,810 total stock market accounts as of 2017. I know that we are very far from realizing our vision of guiding 1,000,000 traders and investors in the Philippine stock market by 2030.
To help us realize that vision, we have been producing free EquiTalks videos, podcasts, and case notes across multiple platforms and social media channels. We discuss stocks and strategies in our EquiTalks program. We have been receiving lots of good feedback regarding our EquiTalks program. Our followers say that our freebies are “free-mium” stuff.
We also have premium services.
We have trade setups for short-term traders. By the end of every trading day, we record a video of our analysis for the top 5 gainers and top 5 losers with the biggest total turnover value. We noticed that most of the stocks that our clients and followers ask about are stocks that appeared in the top gainers’ and top losers’ list. We have decided to proactively prepare the answers even before they ask the questions through our daily stock analyses of 10 stocks in a video format. Our clients can ask follow-up questions in our Private Clients Forum, too!
Meanwhile, if you’re going to ask a financial advisor for investment advice for a newbie like you, the rustic advice you would normally get is to start with mutual funds or an equity index fund. Chances are they will also advise you do peso-cost averaging or keep on buying for as long as the price is below the Buy Below Price of your broker.
There is a problem in buying a mutual fund or an equity index fund. Something’s better than the peso-cost averaging method or the Buy Below Price system. Our proprietary Smart Index Investing Strategy (SIIS) solves those problems through our investment guide for long-term investors. Our clients can also ask follow-up questions in our Private Clients Forum.
On top of all these, I know that you need a mentor not only because you need help to learn the ropes of stock trading and investing, but also because you need someone who can coach you about your blind spots in your strategies and analytical style.
One day I sang a song I really liked. I thought my voice was in harmony with the voice of the singer. So I recorded it. Then I listened to my voice. Please don’t ask how I felt because I got a bad mood right after hearing my voice. I was like, “How could that happen? I thought I sounded like a professional singer and not a singing frog.” This is a practical reason why we all need a mentor. This is the reason why we have a consulting or mentoring service through our Private Clients Forum.
We also conduct proprietary workshops or seminars across the Philippines on how to trade independently and invest profitably in the Philippine stock market.
I would like to personally thank YOU for your trust and confidence in why we do what we do and how we do it.
We will achieve our mission and vision together.
